Yeah, I can relate.
But to be absolutely truthful that was the most fun in an ulduar run I've ever had.

I'm pretty sure Raelen was too busy executing a perfect double backflip with twist to take a screenshot.

re: Thursday Ulduar-25 Run Takes on Circus-like Atmosphere
I can only speak for myself, but that Hodir fight was incredible. Yeah, the circus music was a-playing, but hey, sometimes the circus is hella-good fun. Ultimately fun is why I play this game, and to experience things that I don't usually get to experience in my rl, where I am the mild-mannered Clark Kent to my mage's Superman. Do I sweat the details and try and be better and stay out of the fire? Sure, I feel I owe it to the people I am with and there are times when I want to pull the remainder of my hair out when I can't do better. But those last 10 seconds when we were trying to beat the enrage timer on Hodir and not /epic fail were unbelievable. Everyone left alive had one singular purpose and I am 100% certain were, to a man or woman, sweating and striving to achieve it. To win. And win we did, ugly, messy. stroke-inducing to the vets, and so on. When does that happen in rl? This experience was why I joined. My thanks to Milric et al for making it possible to have this experience.

Nope. But I did a fantastic dive off a platform.

Yes, I am particularly trying to rotate in healers that have an off DPS spec. Having Kizmin (DPS/healing) in the raids was a huge help as some fights just take more healing while others take more DPS. I do not like to switch toons, I hate to switch players.
So, it is my plan to get Arianah, Rozzeg, Skylark, Tottakai some DPS time. I just have to pace that out as, initially, the DPS tends to be low.

I also want to thank all those that put up with me dps'ing. I think by the end, I was starting to understand the Moonkin rotation.
Healing is fun, but sometimes it is also fun to try new things.

Thursday's Ulduar-25 run had a number of applicants and under geared members. Consequently, some fights presented a greater challenge than usual.
In other words - sometimes I could hear the circus music playing
Boss fights can be pretty crazy when the run has a number of raiders that do not have a lot of experience with the events. For instance, the raid did as much damage to Razorscale on the second downing as they did to him on the first downing... and the first downing used Heroism. Kologarn wiped us due to some odd rumbler placement and some eye-beam dragging. He then wiped us again when, amongst other things, one of the tanks ran off the edge and plummeted to their death. We actually beat Hodir 2 seconds AFTER he berserked.
All in all, it was one of those fun nights where raiders without a lot of experience got to take a crack at new things. When viewed as that, it went well. To the veterans that were not used to dying on Kologarn, I appreciate your patience and good humor
